Where's the humble release ? (btw Humble Store release =/= Humble bundle)
I very much wanted to buy this so that the devs get the most money out of it AND get a Steam key.

We're almost three months after release, this doesn't seem compatible to my definition of "shortly after".

Another lying mischevious liar dev that won't get a cent from me, I guess.

Just venting, I've already asked the dev by mail and forum and this question has been blatantly ignored, I and others alike.

Those who haven't bought it already, you've been politely warned. ;)

Why would they release this in a humble bundle so soon aftr the full release? LOL

So you can buy it for $1 and then sell the Steam keys?

Did the dev say he'd release it as part of a humble bundle?

I've bought GOG and STEAM version of Spelunky on Aug 8th.
But three months passed, still no humble store version. WTF!

Gentlemen, you may not know it but the Humble Store is also used by Indie devs to sell their game at full price. Most games sold that way also provide a Steam Key.

But if a humble BUNDLE ever features this game, I'll most probably take it and make it so that Mossmouth do get a cent from it (that's how I'd make the cuts anyway, they may be getting anything indirectly :P).

Yeah, I did not want to buy it at separate places but apparently that is how Mossmouth do things, I guess.

I really want to buy this from the humble store as well(been playing the 360 version since release). They did say it was going to come "shortly" after initial release...

As much as I love this game the devs are not the best at communitty interaction(though they are active with stuff like bug reports and fixes).

Wish they'd just let us know what's up.

Basically +1. They lost a sale with me that way...

I've nicely asked about this multiple times on Twitter and I never get any response.

Spelunky has been number one on my wishlist since August 8. I want to give them my money.

What's the deal? Is it coming to Humble Store or not?

Guys, I don't think they are concerned about you guys buying it at $1 and sliding the slider 100% in their favor on it.

This is a bit cynical but honestly, this is how you all are coming off on it. "They aren't in a Humble Bundle yet! They aren't going to get my $1. If it comes out, I'm going to give them $0.01, that'll show them."

You still have no clue what is being discussed here... In short- Humble Store =/= Humble X Bundle

Yeah, basically this.

ex: www.papersplea.se

Also, when (and if) the time arises, I doubt I'll give anything anywhere close to 1 dollar now.

I DO know the difference between the Humble Store AND Humble Bundle. IF as the OP specifically stated, the rationale was simply the actual Humble Store is because they "...wanted to buy this so that the devs get the most money out of it AND get a Steam key." then why is it so detrimental that they not be on the Humble Store? It seems apparent that the reason is so that it will appear in a Humble Bundle since the payment methods other than a card purchase such as Amazon Payment also take a cut.

I have used the Humble Store for a non-Humble Bundle purchase before such as when I pre-ordered StarBound.

It is detrimental because two months after release they still AREN'T on the Humble Store as they said they would, and they did not communicate on this issue either.

As a gamer and a client, I don't go well with lies.

Nearly three months, actually. I'm not going to call them liars or be angry at them, but they should not be ignoring people who obviously want to buy their game. They have actively disuaded me from purchase with their launch statement and their silence following it.

Foremost, I'd like a DRM-free product. But I'd also like to be able to access the Steam-only features. The Humble Store version is the only option that will provide that, if history is any indication. That's why I'm waiting.

Same. I already own the game on 360, and I'd like to get the best of both worlds on PC (DRM free + the daily challenge) without having to triple-dip.

I tend to buy games from the humblestore for this reason whenever possible.

That is basically what I think too.

I'm not the one to call names but saying something and then not do it, I call that a lie. I mailed them directly and posted on their forums and no answer has ever been given.
