Just got a plasma cannon from a crate :O
Ok so I've heard rumors that you can get a p cannon from a crate, and I also heard those rumors have been disproven, well I just got one. What are the fing chances? Look at my most recent screenshot for proof

I also noticed the dead shopkeeper and several shotguns, in the mines. You sir are somebody who understands the real point of Spelunky.

yeah its super rare, i've played at least an hour a day usually more since it was first released on xbox and i've only gotten it once in a crate.

Over five years that's 1825 hours. I have 2540 hours on TF2. To be fair, I don't know if it's still possible to get an unusual hat in the free weekly drops. And then I think only four to eight hours per week is enough to get all the drops so any more time spent per week is not going to increase the chance to get an unusual hat. If it's no longer possible in the free weekly drops then one would have to purchase a key for a chance to uncrate an unusual hat. And since I don't purchase TF2 items, I may have zero chance at getting an unusual hat.

Meh, it ended up getting me killed anyways. Depending on the circumstances I might just leave it if I find it another time.

Yeah that run I died because I was afk sprinting around my house in excitement and the ghost killed me. Still worth it

I got one around hour 55, and the best part was it was still in the mines, so I had it for the whole run.

Well, until I killed myself. Constantly blowing up offscreen things caused me to destroy an altar in the jungle, and then another one in the ice caves. And I made it another level juggling the ball & chain and the plasma cannon, but it soon became too much for me and I died. Still a wildly fun run though.
