Help with killing shopkeepers at certain exits of the caves

http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=199584160 This is mainly what Im refering to. What is a good way to constantly kill them if they are on an exit like this? If I just wanted to leave the level, I would jump on the guys head and leave but suppose I was coming in the side of the exit in which it would allow the chance for the shopkeeper to jump out and shoot me, How would I deal with this? I have found that jumping on his head until he dies is the best strategy but are their better ones? thanks for the help!

Jumping on their head and quickly exiting while they're knocked out usually works, and if you're feeling extra bold, you can grab their shotgun as well. You could also try tossing a bomb down at them while they're bouncing around right where the exit is. If they've jumped out of that little pit, it's a bit trickier, but you can often wait for them to go far enough away that you have enough time to get to the exit before they reach you.

Probably one of the most annoying exits. If you have a shotgun yourself you can plant a bomb at where (in the picture) the little bit of ladder is in the background. Then instantly move back to where those three bars of gold are and just spam shotgun shots.

I would never reccomend this if there isn't a good spot to sit far away from the where tjhe shopkeeper is. If your too close the bomb will go off and the shopkeeper will almost always shoot you before you can shoot him.

Other than that i would just quickly jump on his head and leave. If you stand there too long he can sometimes jump up and clip you with some pellets so be careful.

Here is actually quite easy to get by. Just wait on the top block near the exit until he is in the right position, then jump on him and go through. Shopkeepers shouldn't be able to get out of the pit. If you want to kill him, then unless you have a weapon or spike shoes, jumping on his head until he dies is the best method.

That is what I usually do but the part where I die from this is usually when I have to acquire the ujdat eye or a damself that is to the side of the pit in which he rampages. In this case its tough because if I am to climb the pit he somehow manages to jump high enough to get out of it before I can enter it to reach the exit and I figured that that was the best method. Its just kind of hard without spike shoes or a jetpack. I have to say other exits tend to be easier then this one that generates in the caves lol

I find that almost every other exit is easier than that one. Even if you know what you're doing its the most inconvenient to deal with. A lot of the other exits (especially in jungle) you can just get far away and spam shots.
