Validate files, restart steam, it's got to be one of them

Nope, tried everything, it goes through him
He acts as a timer after a certain amount of time he will come so you got to be quick

That's not completely true, the ghost can be killed, but it will take a long time to do so. There are only two things in the game the ghost is vulnerable to: UFO lasers and lava. UFO lasers do 1 damage, and lava does 99 damage. The ghost has 9999 health points, so it would take 101 hits from lava for the ghost to die. This has been done by Bananasaurus Rex, you can check it out in this video:

But as I said this takes a long time - a very long time with the UFO lasers - and there is no practical reason for doing it other than bragging rights.

Glad to know it can be done, but still it's not worth the effort when you could just run to the exit
