More a parady than a sequel.
Made by different people, removed sanity meter, tons of things. Dont you agree?

This game is a good game. The only reason that people dont like it is because they compare it to amnesia: dark decent. If the game was called "A Machine For Pigs" without it being considered a sequal a lot more people would like it.

No it still would be compared to amnesia since it looks and was on the same engine source as amnesia.
If they did that it would be called being lazy with the game and not making something new but removing the name title of amnesia.

No. Because that was the point. They wanted to put out a game that was different from The Dark Descent. Something inspired by Dear Esther but mixed into the Amnesia universe and engine. What we got is about what you could expect from that. A kind of horror that isn't about the adrenaline rush.

It's the kind of game that could receive the same kinds of never ending internet debates and discussions that the old Silent Hill games used to get on their fan forums. But you don't see it because every time it's mentioned you get people screaming at how the game isn't Amnesia: Outlast.

wouldnt say parody but definitley not on par with TDD, i would call this an enjoyable mockery of a fantastic original :P

that being said i really did like my playthrough of AMFP was a very fun game the creatures were nasty lookin mofos and the plot was cliched yet very enjoyable, my only real issue with it is the sheer lack of replayabilty, lack of custom stories and general length of the game itself, still if u like TDD gotta play through this, hell it only take 3- 4 hours why not ? haha

I can hardly call it game, and horror. You walk, read some note with some camera shaking and loud sound.

I absolutely disagree. I think it is a far more captivating experience than TDD ever was.

Funny how it fit to The Dark Descent too...
