can somebody answer this for me? xD
Hey guys! I've preordered the box copy from Amazon, pretty stupid thing to do, i don't use my disk tray, it's not even attached to my computer! xD Does anyone know if there's gunna be a "redeemable code" on the inside so that i can put Dying Light on Steam. Also does anyone have any idea if i'll get the preorder bonus' as it doesn't say anything about being steam-exclusive, and i have preordered it, just not on steam, thanks for any thoughts you guys can give me! :)

Yeah most games use some form of DRM most commonly a one time use serial key that will tie to an account like Steam, Origin or Uplay. So if you prefer to download just slap that key into steam download it like any other game that you would buy from steam. The is a little difference just using the key make a coffee and it will be downloaded in no time.

I've done it myself with a few games because most games to install these days can be anywhere from 1 to 5 discs.

So in short yes. :)

STEAM - EXCLUSIVE not AMAZON - EXCLUSIVE

that's what i'm saying, it doesn't say anything about it being exclusive only to steam, i'm guessing that it's likely that i won't get the preorder extras because it's not directly on steam, although for £25 you can't go wrong either way

ah that sounds promising, i've bought a couple box copies of games already and they all had some form of code to put into either origin or Steam, so i'm keeping my hopes up!

Pretty sure that Amazon has a digital download option now, can't you just cancel the pre-order and then rebuy it as the digital one? Pretty sure Amazon lists it as requiring Steam, so its likely just a Steam key like most thier digital stuff and should be the same pre-order bonuses I'd imagine. You could probably even go through thier CS to get your order changed from the physical to digital as well if their refund policy excludes you from trying to rebuy it, I dont know though Ive never tried to refund anything on Amazon.

i've just checked, there's an "Amazon-Exclusive" version, which specifically says it includes the "be the zombie" mode, so i guess i don't get any of that, although like i said, it's only £25 so i'm not complaining xD + i would cancel it and try to buy the other version, but i need to save all the money i can to upgrade my GPU xD
