I've heard mixed reviews on FF3 and wanted to check before I bought on sale. I've heard that FF3 is the 'grindiest' Final Fantasy ever created and with that comes a level of difficulty that is among the highest in the series. I've also heard that it's a long game (for early FF not like FF12). I absolutely loved FF4 but was agnostic on FF5. Which is this game closer to? Thanks!...

I'm probably just stupid, because I've looked online and no one actually explains it, so it's probably just me missing something obvious. 1. My stats change based on levelling up, but how exactly? Do they go up an arbitrary amount for each character when they level up, regardless of job, AND THEN the job level ups increase your stats, dependent upon job? Or, is your base level up stats dependent upon what job you are? For example, if I stay a monk and level up until base level is 99 and monk level is 99, ...

Ive been following a guide. im like 65, everything has been easy. IM up to final boss, NOT THE VERSION YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO DIE TO, the actual final boss. have 4 ribbons on. the boss casts partical beam and does 9999 damage to all my chars in round 1 WTF? im level 65, i grinded a lot. everything was easy.... this makes no sense. wtf is going on?...

I noticed a lot of people having the same issue not being able to launch this game upon downloading it. Most suggestions say to download a different (usually older) version of Microsoft Visual C++ to try getting it to work that way. Before you try that, I would suggest searching your system for the FF3 folder that contains the FF3 Launcher. Attempt to open it and it will likely say you are missing msvcp120.dll and msvcr120.dll. Open a new tab or window in your file explorer and search for these .dll files...
