Auto shoot
Am I the only one having a problem with this?
Why do you have to click EVERY single time you want to shoot? After 5 mins of play i can already feel my wrist hurting.
Please, please please add this a a feature

you could probably do it yourself with xpadder maybe. I have never tried using xpadder for turbo or auto key. Maybe joy2key can do it also. it's the free keybaord to gamepad buttons. Just use keyboard in game and change xpadder or joy2key to those keyboard letters and play with the controller. Find the shoot button in xpadd or joy2key and see if you can change it to auto/turbo.

I see it working but idk, never tried or played this game. good luck.

And I once had a cheap pc game pad ($10) and it had a turbo on it and built in keyboard mapping software. Not a high quality gamepad but very cheap. I assume now they would have something amazing for PC with all those features but most people just go with a 360 controller.

I agree with the OP this is a gamebreaker for me. Enjoyable game but not enough to justify carpal tunnel from button mashing.

I'm not sure what Captian means by "ruining the game" or "doesn't fit". It wouldn't change the attack rate for the classes so I'm not seeing a downside or any impact on the gameplay, it woulld simply make the game more enjoyable to play.

You could just be super lazy, and do something like:

#include <Misc.au3>
While 1
If _IsPressed(01) Then //01 is the left mouse button.
mouseclick("left")
EndIf
Sleep(10)
WEnd

In autoit.

They're saying that it would make the game too easy, but really, you should just be playing with a controller of some kind.
Much more comfortable.

I agree, playing with a controller will make you hurt real fast. too bad, real game breaking..

Same here. I played for a few hours and really felt it for a few days afterwards. Too much repetitive motion for me. Every time I think about picking the game up again I quickly remember why I shouldn't. Auto fire would allow me to play again.

There is a dev active in the forums that I hope will jump in on this topic and let us know if it would be possible. I'd love to keep playing but not worth the pain.

Yeah, we can only hope they see this and do something about it. If they feel it ruins the game, then add a stamina bar to the autofire.

If there are so many people that feel this option should be added, it should at least be toggleable, since there are others who wouldn't use it (like me).
Hudlommen Apr 2, 2014 @ 8:35am
Yeah, then people who wants to feel the "EPIC" pain can do that and the rest of us can enjoy the game.
Fracturefart Apr 2, 2014 @ 11:37am
Honestly, I spam like crazy and I never got any sort of pain. But then again, that goes from each person's joint strength.

So are you saying that some of us have girly man thumbs? ;p

I get pain in the area between my thumb and wrist (using controller). I can't think of any other activity that would give that area that type of workout.
