Issues with cloud sync
I play this game on both my laptop (Mac) and desktop (Windows), and it seems like sync is not working properly between platforms. Is this an inherent problem with Steam, or the game?

Specifically, the Mac version seems to override the latest version I play on my PC, despite being older. It won't sync save games at all from my PC game on my Mac.

Anyone else have this problem? Hopefully it'll be resolved

Not sure but I think is Steam side, double check on the MAC if the Steam cloud is enable is the global steam settings, and also in the game properties.

You can also try the Steam beta client, you can enable it in Steam settings first tab, they are actually releasing updates every days.

Not sure but maybe Steam as a cloud for each platform

You will probably have better help in the Steam os forums

I have the same issue. Steam on Mac says the cloud sync is occuring. But if I try to continue on my Windows PC (which I haven't started playing on yet), no save information is found.

Same issue here.

Same issue here, on my Mac it hasn't even uploaded anything to the cloud, whereas the Windows version saved some data on exit (config?) without even starting the first day!

Can this be looked into, please?

Just noting that I have the same issue when trying to load a sync from a Mac to a PC.

Same here, and it's between my Desktop and laptop, both running windows 7.

More annoying: when I try to "cloud" the save myself, using a service such as DropBox and Symbolink link, the game crashes at startup.

Anyone else having that? Anyone knowing for a fix?

This is not Steam's fault. The Cloud feature is turned off on Linux (and probably on Mac, too) so cross-platform Cloud saving doesn't work. The author's position can be found here.

Zoidberg, it's weird that you can't even move the save manually... Are you using the same version of the game on both computers?
