Heretic : Zandroum(or whatever) and Freeze Screen

Anyone having a issue like this? I am using Znadorum to I can use mouse look and WASD and such. And every once in a while the game screen just freeze up and the image stays put, bleeding from other screens as well(like map and such). I can fix it by simply Tab Windowing to Desktop and going back to the game...but still...

Have you tried toggling your graphics render to Software or OpenGL? Maybe that will help.
It's under the OPTIONS -> SET VIDEO MODE.
