Awesome! Thanks a bunch and I shall try it out now.
Sweet, thanks. I love Arcen games, but they're all very nichey, so I want to make sure I fit this niche before purchasing it.
Since it is unity I have to ask: will there be a Linux version?
The developers have said before that they are interested in Linux development, but there is some technical hurdle they have to clear before it can be done. That said, their other games work perfectly under Wine. Since the engine used here is the same/similar, I would expect it would work fine, too.

I know Wine isn't the prefered avenue to take, but it will do until a native port is made.

No link, but how about a response from me? :)

Yeah, we'd like to, but, our internal tests of all of our games have not gone well. It's something we want to fix, but we've not yet had the time to figure out what's going on. Hopefully soon.

Even better! Thanks for the info. I know little about game development but from what I've seen it's easy for things to get complicated (even if, e.g., Unity has an Ubuntu option). Thanks for looking into it though.

No problem.

Also, let me be more clear. The issue is that upgrading to Unity 4 (which is the version that supports Linux) actually causes problems with the Windows versions of all our games. So, since most of our current player-base is Windows based, we'd be causing them problems by switching right now.

I'm not saying it won't happen. Personally, I'd really like to see it done. But, my point is that it's something we have to be very careful about doing.

Thanks for the link!
I'm a big fan of AI War, and have just installed the Windows demo of this (not yet tried) which I downloaded about 18hrs ago. I thought you (tigersfan) might want to be told that the installer final screen has "Do you want to launch ***unknown variable product_demoname*** now?"

Thanks! We'll look into that.
