Ruins
In the tool-tip for ruins, it states what the tile was previously... but just the terrain and not what kind of builing... That *would* be really helpful. Is it supposed to behave this way?

Also, having only played the demo, how's the overall balance (including the expansion)?

The only way I am aware of to tell what building the tile was before it became a ruin is in the combat history. The balance I feel is very good ((very bad) skyward collapse joke) as the races are intentionally imbalanced against eachother so that matching your opponents moves will get you (or them) killed depending on unit counters.

I feel like that may be an awful explanation.... the game is fun, the expansion is good, don't forget you can build multiple towns, enjoy.

The game is basically a puzzle (including down to the options each civilization offers), so as said above, the different civilizations are imbalanced. It's very playable with mirrored (e.g. Greek vs. Greek) civs or mixed (e.g. Greek vs. Japanese) civs.
