Linux Version?
Hey devs! I was just wondering if there would be a release of SD4 or even B2M for Linux?

Obviously with Steam Dev Days going on its the talk of the town. The Mac version and reliance on OpenGL I'm assuming would make things easier to port.

Considering the fact that the Leadwerks game engine will be have a native Linux editor - I was thinking it would be awesome to do all modeling, programming, etc. in one OS.

Also - with Dev Days taking place now - are any of you there to chat with other software developers about tighter integration and workflows? Perhaps with Fuse, Leadwerks or MODO?

Thanks!

A.

We are currently working on the Linux version for our software. Stay tuned :)

And yes, tighter integration with other software is also in the dev pipe (it's already the case with Fuse by the way)

This comment made me so happy!

Are we able to create substances for Fuse? I bought the substance pack for Fuse thinking that that was the only way to expand it.

Are you able to comment just yet on what other software you are planning on integrating with?

Just wanted to pop my head in and see if there has been any progress on the linux versions for SD, SP, and B2M? The guys at Epic have already said that they're working on a linux version of the UE4 editor and I would love to jump off of the Mac train as soon as possible! LOL

Thanks!
