Where exactly are the save files?

Ok I gave up, finding the golden blocks is a huge pain in the back, so a few days ago I decided to look for the save file to see if I could edit it. I find the challenges fun, but the process of getting the gold blocks even ruins the regular stages for me.

I found what seemed to be it in the %appdata% SPPDeluxe forde, but no matter what I do to the files there (edit/delete/etc...) It allways seems to restore the file even if I have the computer offline.

So there MUST be another place where the save files are stored. I would appreciate it if someone would could help me cause I have REALLY had it with the whole Golden Block thing.

Yes, of course, its not like vidoegames are supposed to be fun or anything...

Regardless, since no-one posted anything here for quite a while I started to try again. I am now missing only 2 Gold Blocks after a bunch of tries and a lot of luck.

If you can't make an achievement, you don't deserve it... why you gonna use another saves to get them? that's cheating!

You're right, people do play it different. The difference here being you want everything with none of the effort involved in getting everything. Notice how others are able to get it?

Who said I wanted everything without the challenge involved? I did not ask for a 100% save file. I only asked to skip a rather tedious, completely LUCK based and badly designed (IMO) part of the game so I could get to the FUN, AND CHALLENGING...err...challenges....

Even if I didnt have a problem with the mechanics behind the golden blocks your argument would still be bad. Its a single player game, you are not afftected at ALL when someone decides to cheat his way to unlockables. What is the BIg deal here? Games are supposed to be fun, if someone doesnt find something fun, when there is a FUN thing locked behind it then its perfectly understandable if they want to skip it.

If you found the whole Gold Block thing fun then its ok. But there are people who dont, do they not matter? Does their fun not matter? Why must you shove that horrible argument of "effort" into a thing that is played for enjoyment? Its not there are even any bragging rights involved here.

There isnt even an achievent for the golden blocks, there is an achievement for the things they unlock, which are actually challenging and skill based, rather than being luck based and grindy.


Regardless, Its been several weeks since I got all the gold blocks and finished all the challenges. So this topic can close now. PLEASE DONT POST ANY MORE HERE.
