Are Challenges Optional?

Hey Guys,

While I'm loving the game I've never been a huge fan of fixed puzzles in a game like this. Is completing challenges required to unlock any of the characters?

Just one of them, I believe.

the achievements show you how to get the characters, five are optional, about that much.

Oh, so it looks like almost all of the characters are unlocked via feats (destroying over 100 blocks in a run) and, as you say, the conditions to unlock each character is stated right there in the achievements. Very cool.

Just a shame the challengs were all so easy... same with last boss btw.. pretty much every challenge first 2 or so tries I was like "hmm this might be hard" and then couple of tries later it was done and dusted..

If you didn't unlock/play the challenges released with the update, I highly recommend checking them out if you're looking for something that ups the difficulty.
