UV layout / model skin problem with my models
Hei guys, I'm currently working on a map and it's coming along great despite my otherwise busy schedule.
But the mapping's been halt since I started creating my own models. :D I quickly learned how to use Blender. BUT. The UV layouts... I can export the UV layout just fine, but it usually takes about 3-4 times to get the skin right. It seems that no matter how I unwrap the mesh, my skin is wrongly aligned.
Is there a spesific way to unwrap and export? I'm using VTFedit to transform it to VTF and Studiocompiler for the model. What am I doing wrong?

Try using Object -> Apply -> Rotation & Scale from the 3D view. It seems that Blender doesn't always update the scale of the object properly unless you do that, especially if you transform it in Object Mode.
