Contagion - Let's Play Competition Judging & Friday Frenzy

We've locked the discussion and will be judging everyone's hard work (don't worry this will not hamper our own work). But after todays "Friday Frenzy" we'll have to use that time towards judging. We will announce the next "Friday Frenzy" after we announce the winners! Best of luck to you all!

Over the years we've held quite a number of competitions, campaigns, and giveaways to help spread the news about our springboard Indie Title "Contagion" a Co-op/Multiplayer Zombie Survival Horror FPS built on a heavily modified version of the Source Engine. We're going a bit bigger this time around with a competition all can participate in and prizes exceeding $12,500 USD.

Again to enter into the Contagion - Let's Play Competition make sure to acquire a copy of Contagion, Use your own or create a Youtube account to post your "Let's Play" video when ready, and then post in our Razer - Let's Play Competition discussions with a new a discussion titled "<Name/Nick> Contagion - Let's Play Competition" with a limit of 3 entries per participant.

We've received support from Kickstarter, "Early Access", Youtubers, and the community as a whole so we're quite excited to give back while further spreading news of our Full Release of Contagion on Friday, April 11th with a Youtube & Razer inspired competition. It's quite simple-

Rules & Guidelines

• Must own a copy of Contagion
  
• Must be a member of this Official Contagion Steam Group
  
• Must have or create a Youtube Account of your own
  
• Record a Contagion related video (Fraps, Twitch Stream Recordings, etc) that is at least 5mins long but no longer than 15mins
  
• Upload to Youtube
  
• Create a new discussion in the following format "<Name/Nick> Contagion - Let's Play Competition" and post up to 3 separate Youtube entries in a single discussion. Please do not post in separate discussions and/or post the same video in multiple discussions.
  
• Content can be anything from Solo Playthrough, Public Server Game-play, A proper "Let's Play", Serious squad based tactical gameplay, Humorous Messing about, A guide to help fellow players, A break down of the game, a review (with or without a score), or just let your imagination run wild.
  
• DO NOT post anything unrelated to our game Contagion, trolling, bold face lying, insults, racism, hateful, or just truly poor taste recordings.
  
• Again keep it tasteful which means if you're to use profanity try and keep it in check and avoid insulting as stated above.
  
• The Competition will start simultaneously with the Full Release of Contagion on Friday, April 11th roughly around 12PM Noon PST (GMT - 7:00) and will end one month late on Friday, May 9th at 12PM Noon PST (GMT - 7:00). All Entries provided before or after this date will be excluded.
  
• We are sincere when we say ANYONE can win. We will be judging all entries on how much we enjoyed the video and/or the thought put into it. Total subscribers, views, thumbs up, etc will play no role in the decision.
  
• Only the account holder of the Youtube channel will be rewarded. We can't split prizes amongst users. It would be up to them to decide how best to handle the winnings.
  
• Only one prize per user. Say you post 3 brilliant videos. We'd pick the best and let others have a go.
  
• All entries must be in English or have English captions/subtitles for the judges.

I'm Nervous I never did a compitition before and there are so many entries Im just 1 out of 100 and i have a 1 out of 10 chance to win so thats extremely low I dont know wether even saying this decided my fate but I had fun Making it

We told everyone the low quality settings would not influence the decision. Rather the thought put into the video and the over feeling after watching whether bad or good if it impressed (we know the quality of our models, textures, and shaders heh). Lots of work but biggest turn out at a competition I've seen so far for an Indie :)
