There is no save feature as of yet. There will be one, but there's no date yet, afaik.

Dont count on getting one...

Still no save feature? Guess this game still has a lot more dust to collect until I play it again. :c

its pathetic a save feature hasn't been implemented yet, it's really not hard.. games on consoles like SNES had simple save on exit save features.

I've been working on and debugging saves for the last month. It's nearly complete, but I am still finding cases where it doesn't work perfectly. It's not something simple to implement.

So you added a save feature yourself to a game then?
games on consoles like SNES had simple save on exit save features.
They were developed with it from the start, not added later, which wasn't possible, as you surely know.

I actually like the fact that there is no save function, this makes it a real challenge to beat the game.

I can appreciate the amount of effort required to implement a proper save feature. I only question the decision not to include it in the first place.

Hindsight is 20/20 as they say.
LoD was never expected to have the scope or popularity it now has. That combined with it being a game designed for me and Alix to play and we just didn't need to save?

I'm still in favour of not being able to save at all, even if it is a classic permadeath savegame which is destroyed upon loading, because it's still a huge enabler for cheating, which would defeat the purpose of the online leaderboard.
So I think there should either be a separate game mode with it's own leaderboard for save-enabled playing or a really proof cheating prevention mechanism.
Of course these are just my two cents, I really love the game and don't want it ruined by hoardes of cheaters spamming the leaderboard. But whatever you decide to come up with, thank you very much for the awesome game (and for wasting hours of my life =P ).
