it shames me that i don't get to play this game with my friends as it is now.
Not really, it's true that it's just a couple of people and that implementing online coop would require A LOT of work (i'm not saying it's doable, at all) but the part about "a nickle for every copy" it's quite silly, because two people getting around 70% of a game's pricetag is proportionally a lot more than what people in a big team make, so in terms of what devs gain it's often more profitable to have a 10$ game made by two people than a 30$ game made by 20 people or more. :)
Anyway i'm not saying the game is not worth buying, i only played an old alpha/beta (the one they gave away with Groupees) and i'll probably buy it now.
I really don't get peoples obsession with playing co-op.
You kids need to learn how to enjoy some personal time here and there.
