This game is bad
Too many useless mechanics--- why the hell are there cats all over the place and do nothing switches that dont' do anything, items in unreachable places, spray paint, way too many useless items, wtf is the point of beer, all the guns and flamethrows i found were useless?

the itemization in this game is awful sometimes you find jack sometimes you find a good weapon early

no way to block despite healing not scaling with level

the game strategy is basically press x the whole way down and just hope you don't get a bad roll of enemies that can kill you without blinking

Not a game for everyone I guess?
It's funny how a lot of the complaints some people have are features we've worked hard to design into the game XD

If you're just pressing X the whole time, you're not going to get very far in the dungeon!

I disagree, I really like this game. A few of the things you said do bug me a little, like how you said there are switches that do nothing(or maybe activate something in another room on the same level/floor?). Also, cats are just one of the many item types. And theres an item that makes you jump higher(I know but I'll never tell :3).
If all else fails the 1.50$ or so I spent on this game was worth it for the beautiful lighting.

Thanks for the great experience so far devs!

if a switch does something in another room some indictation would be nice like "oh that seemed to do something somewhere else"

the flamethrower was beyond useless when i used it explain to me what there is to do in this game besides hit x all the time? there's no dodge or block ability so any enemy with a reach hits you if you're stuck with a sword

I love this game's simplicity, mystery, and beautiful. It fills my circuits with joy.

I imagine this is what a real dungeon crawl would be like. You will never know what you get. If it's a useless item, or even one that HURTS you... how would you know, until you tried it?

Plus, cats. I am an unfeeling machine, floating in the frozen vacuum of space and even I find that funny.

a real dungeon crawler would have an element to skill to it this game does not have it at all
you can't even kill the cats in this game without being penalized

It's called proceedural generation...randomness.

And it's a "rogue-like-like", which means part of the fun is figuring out what things do on your own. But, if you feel you need descriptions of everything, you can Google a wiki.

there are no classes and no skills in this game you can't do any builds

Dear Lord, stop complaining... You don't like this, WE GET IT.
Move along.

This guy's got a point, though. The best dungeon crawlers I've played - Nethack, all the wya up to Dredmor - have had some kind of variable skill system or classes. This game has nothing. You go in the dungeon and just pick up hats and swords and hope you get to the bottom. There really isn't that much skill involved.

Boh, what do I know.

If you don't like it find other game that fits your needs. Not all games need to have the same mechanics and try to please every gamer.

I can say whatever I want. I invested in this game and the company and I'm telling them what I want to see if they want me to invest in any sequels to this. It's simple.

Dude, they're gonna make the games they want to make...I feel like you're wasting your time saying "I don't like that you didn't include..." and then write a crap ton of things. You're not suggesting a few changes, you're describing what would amount to a completely different game. I'm not saying your opinion isn't legitimate or anything, because obviously not everybody is going to like the same things, and it sucks you bought a game you clearly don't like at all, but really it's a wasted cause.
