How to get weapons?

I started to play today and I'm on level 6 and I haven't found any weapon, I'm still using the default sword. Is there anyway to get other weapons?

Yeah u find them, try exploring or playing a different mode, maybe daily?

Or its possible you picked up the weapons but dont know how to scroll through the weapons?

Usually I only find weapons later on like starting on the 10th level if at all, its really just about luck...
