Architect Armor - pros vs. cons
Does the Architect armor really have no additional storage slots,(misread the shield recovery before, my mistake), less shield capacity & less health? This armor looks like the next progressive step in mining-oriented armor, but no storage slots is a killer... the dig rate modifier and shield recovery rate are nice.

im thinking of upgrading from groundpounder armor to architect
can you tell me if 16 dig rate is worth losing the hyperdrill?
also yes i think the groundpounder and architect armor being weaker and not having inv slot bonuses is stupid

I haven't tested the speed (since I need to give up my Survivalist set to build the Architect set), but the Hyperdrill has a greater mining width than other picks. As a result, you effectively dig faster than other options. I think the Hyperdrill would still beat out the Architect set for short-distance mining.

I understand some things being taken away from the Groundpounder set. In exchange you receive the most effective short-distance mining pick available. Further down the equipment line, I'm not so convinced...

For now, I'll just keep rocking my Survivalist set.

and ima keep rocking my aurora bolealis and groundpounder combo!
btw aurora borealis set costs a STUPIDLY LARGE amount of flexible chitin so... yeah that another thing that needs to be fixed

Iv found Flexible Chitin and Enginoid Capacitors to be a lil bit too rare, imo.

it took about 3 time longer to make the aurora borealis set than the groundpounder and tribal cheiftain sets combined

Finally made a phase mortar 6. Not sure Im gonna invest the time quite yet to make all the armour types, it took me long enough to make the engineer armour, which incidently, is awesome! The special turret that can only be used with the engineers armour can be dropped multiple times, every 2 seconds iirc, and each hangs around for quite a while doing decent dmg.

i was soo worried the re-engineered turret kit would just be some ♥♥♥♥♥♥ kit that could only place a single turret at 30 second intervals (like the other kits)

oooh please tell me that if i can have the 4 equiped at once?

Each turret lasts 12 seconds
Cooldown is 2 seconds
6 turrets at a time :)
I put 2 kits on and had 12 turrets. I dont see why you cant do it with 4 and have 24 turrets! :D
