$5.99 on GOG....free on steam?
I was gonna get this game in preperation for the new one which looks amazing, and happened to see it on GOG for sale for 5.99. now, it DOES come with the expansions free, but i was just surprised to see it f2p on steam.

The version on steam is completely different. Its the original version minus the addons unlike the version on GOG. However there is a ALSO a "Redux" (Not free) version on steam that incorporates a Sourceport with modern niceties such as support for remappable keys, fully adjustable mouse settings, as well as native support high/modern resolutions. On top of that it ALSO incorporates fixes for game breaking issues in the addons as well as the rest of the game not found in the other versions.

The GoG version only comes with the expansions which are freeware, otherwise this is the same game.

But stop, don't buy the GoG version or even play this version, head over to https://www.humblebundle.com/weekly and get the Redux version, along with a few other games and get the best source port available for the game

And don't forget on 3D Realms Shadow Warrior costs 10$.

I own all 3, (Free Classic, gog.com Classic Complete and Classic Redux), and Classic Redux is definitely the way to go. Everything is updated and modernized, better keyboard layout and functionality, better mouse control, better graphics.

it will only be free on here because the publisher ♥♥♥♥ed up some steam key give aways, which eventually made the put it free for ever.
