You guys weren't kidding about performance problems.
Wow, I can't believe how bad this runs. I can run the non-DC version at like 100+fps in 3d and this one barely looks like I'm breaking 30. I tried that registry editing fix but it didn't really do anything for me. Something is wrong with it. Hope they patch it soon. My advice is don't buy this until it gets patched.

come on, not the nvidia vs amd thing...

Nvidia is definitely reaping a majority of the problems. Just like the original release some years ago. AMD users have had a few problems as well. I've a Radeon card and the game runs problem free for me, except for a few low res texture issues.

These issues aren't affecting everyone with Nvidia cards, my game runs fine on a GTX 660 Ti.

Meanwhile, my AMD 6800 is enjoying a wonderfully stuttery time.

7970 checking in, runs perfect here.

Running the game on two 7950's, and almost constantly at 120fps.

It's a bit funny how this turns into an AMD versus Nvidia, when actually the game is to blame. Yes, the original had problems with Nvidia. Yes, the developer had two years to sort this out. No, they didn't.

thx buddy lets see how it works

The regedit fixed my game completely. Was running into massive frame drops at random times prior. Now I rarely get so much as a stutter when entering a new area even.

When I interpret the fix correctly, the one option optimizes the game for AMD and this is enabled by default. Or at least it seems an AMD specific feature that is always one. And this is something where the developer clearly failed. What did they think, that everyone runs AMD? O_o

I have a 670gtx. I don't see how it's Nvidia's fault that Eidos can't program their game correctly.

Here's the registry entries in question. There are 3 values going around the net. Using all 3 does the trick. Not sure if all are needed.
Under:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > Eidos > Deus Ex: HRDC
set "D3D11_CREATE_DEVICE_PREVENT_INTERNAL_THREADING_OPTIMIZATIONS" to 1
set "AllowJobStealing" to 0

Under:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > Eidos > Deus Ex: HRDC > Graphics
set "AtiForceFetch4" to 0

@freehotdogs
Make sure you set the keys under "Deus Ex: HRDC" and not your old "Deus Ex: HR" folder. They're handled seperately.
