Dualshock 4 not detected

I heard this game natively supported Dualshock 4 with ps prompts and light bar, so I tried it out. Apparently the game can't detect my controller. I'm using Dualshock 4 V2, which is the newer 2nd gen version

I'm sorry about that! We haven't heard of this issue before, so it would be useful to get as much info as possible. I have a few questions right off the bat:

Do you have any other controllers connected?

Is it working in other games?

Are you playing on PC, Mac, or Linux?

If you reinstall the Dualshock's drivers does it help?

Are you using it wired, or via Bluetooth?

We'll take a look on our side and try to figure out what may be going on.

Same here, and also using the DS4 V2.

Nope, this is my only controller

In other games it works, in The Binding of Isaac the game set the PS prompts on its own, in ICEY I had to manually switch over to the PS4 controller.

Playing on PC over here.

Doesn't help sadly :(.

Sorry for the late response. I only have one controller connnected through wired. I am playing on PC. The controller works on other games with DS4 support like Octodad, which also had PS prompts

My DS4 V2 is still not detected by the game. Is a fix in the works?

This should be fixed in today's patch.

* Note: If you're using a DualShock 4 V2 controller and experience an issue where the audio is silent when you start the game, you may work around this by:

Disconnecting and reconnecting the controller

Backing out to Windows, changing your audio output to your desired speakers using Windows Audio Mixer, then re-launching the game

Yep! I can confirmed that my controller now works after today's patch. Thank you for your hard work Supergiant team!

Can also confirm that my DS4 works with this game now if I unplug my XInput-Controller. Though what happened to the lightbar support?
