Patch 1.7 Notes (Now Live)
Hey everyone! Patch 1.7 has just been pushed live. To ensure you're playing the most current version of Angry Video Game Nerd Adventures, please close the game and reboot steam.

Patch 1.7 Notes
  • Keyboard mapping has been added and can be found in the options menu.
  • Users can now disable gamepad detection. To do this type “/gamepadoff” in the game’s Launch Options in Steam
  • Fixed a bug where the Window would periodically reset it’s position to the middle of the screen if the user had moved it
  • You can no longer get stuck in the re-appearing blocks in Boo! Haunted House
  • Time now maxes out at 999 minutes in the options menu
  • Beer, Deaths and 1ups collected now max out at 9999 in the options menu
  • Fixed a bug that was preventing the game from returning to the main menu after completing the game

Great, keyboard mapping was the last big thing that was really needed. Thanks for your continuous work!

If you need detailed instructions on disabling gamepad detection. Please use the following steps
1. In your Steam library, right click on Angry Video Game Nerd Adventures
2. Select Properties
3. Click "Set Launch Options"
4. In the field, type "/gamepadoff" (all lower case)
5. Click OK
6. Click Close in the Properties window
7. Run the game, and the gamepad will be disabled

To re-enable it, follow the same steps, but delete "/gamepadoff" from the field

i was hoping for Trading Cards for next patch any news on those ? will Mike Matei draw the card background etc related ? nonetheless great patch fix Thanks alot Screw Attack Entertainment :dealwithit:

Trading cards are in the works. They're quite a length process and we wanted to get all the feature stuff resolved for you guys first and foremost.

How do you reset the controls if I have mapped all of them on one key? I can't play anymore....

can we get a random chance for a quote to appear instead of everytime, gets well annoying :P
great work so far, that one thing is keeping me from playing since I die alot T_T

Pretty much every controller that uses Xinput I believe.

I just completed the game on normal, got the achievement from it but it still didnt return me to main menu. Still shows that the final stage is not completed

Why not some checkpoints in places where they are actually needed? For example...

This right here is the reason I can't get any farther in the game. I've died on this trap probably 50 times, and everytime I go back to the last checkpoint, forcing me to do the entire jumping puzzle again and probably dying at least 2 times again before I get to this point.

Look, I get it, you are suppose to die a lot, the game is suppose to be annoying, blah blah blah. But this is making me just want to uninstall the game and never play it again. At this point, the novelty has worn off. If I could demand a refund, I would.

Does anyone know where it's saving the game data at? You could probably delete that file and then change it again.

I too have mapped everything to one key. I can no longer do anything. Strangely enough, if I hit said key, it immediately takes me to the end of the game. I somehow see the ending without doing anything.

Go me?
