Linux mouse cursor appearance (AMD)
I have an annoying white box around my cursor with both the open source driver, and fglrx. Anyone know of a fix?

Nope, same in Legend of Grimrock and in Kingdom Rush. Really getting annoying now.

Yep, in fact like Mammon said, several games suffer from that annoying white box on AMD and it appears that noone knows what causes it or how to fix it (can't otherwise explain why it's been around for years...).

I'm using Arch with the open-source driver, and Ubuntu 14.04 with the Catalyst driver. I have the problem with both, and like Mammon mentioned, there's a similar issue I have with Legend of Grimrock

It's and AMD issue, nothing to do with which linux distro you run, and seems to affect all versions of proprietary drivers and open source drivers.
