[OFFICIAL] Patching Status
08/07/13: We've released version 1.4, which among other things include the ability to set long-distance paths by clicking on a map icon, 14 new random events, and much more challenging game balance in Mexico. For the full details, see the Changelog.

16/08/13: Today we've released version 1.5 which includes the German localization, some fixes and balance tweaks. Please see the Changelog for full details.

19/08/13: We've had to revert to version 1.4.0 because of some problems with the German localisation. We're working to address the issue and get the patch back up again as soon as possible.

02/10/13: Version 1.5 with German translation among other fixes is up. For the further details, please take a look into the Changelog.

A special thanks to those who took the time to get us feedback and bug reports, both here and our forums. Please continue to give us feedback and bug reports, so we can make the game as stable and fun for you as possible.

Thank you very much.
By the way, have you found a way to get the non-steam versions patched without downloading the entire game?

Excellent, it's a fun game! The only thing I would add from my experience so far is an option to increase the text size. Running at 1080 rez makes it rather small and difficult to read.

Thx, but please fix that bug in next patch:

I finished "Defend Santo Domingo" and there is no quest marks for unfinished quests. So I can only go to mainland and can't continue "The Gloaming" and "The Tournament".

It still sounds like the audio is popping; I'm using a Soundblaster Z internal soundcard. The game is also crashing upon exit.

Great news :)

@stdvb
You can complete the quest by leaving the town for a couple of days and then coming back. The buildings will then "reopen".

not allways, I had the same problem with the medallion quest, I had a conversation with KevDk while I checked the waiting period out, and after waiting 50+ days I decided that I was not going to be able to turn the quest in...

If you can go to the mainland, then go... when I had problems with the madallion I waited for 50+ days when then I moved on, you might want to do the same, thoug sad and annying but you can still move on with the game.

My game crashes very often since I reached Mexico. It started once in the first village... after restarting, it now crashes before or after every fight. That is really annoying, because it didn't crash at Hispaniola once... I like playing the game, but at the moment I'm a little frustrated. About 10 crashes in a row and no idea, what is the failure...

@The Leader Scouting Skill Bug, having reset back to 5 after starting the game (even though I had it to 8). I remember the bug being acknowledged and a fix is coming but what I want to know is, when it gets fixed, do we get our original stat back or do we have to start a new game for that?

It worked, big thanks.

Any chance that VSync gets eventually added? It's not an available option at this point, and that's likely culprit for overheating many players are reporting.

K♥♥♥♥♥t2, we're looking into that issue right now. There's also a topic on our forums regarding this issue. Pheace, the fix will be in the next patch. It will revert the stat back to what it used to be when you started out. Kibertoad, we've heard several people suggest it, I think it'll make it into one of the patches, although I'm not sure which one. I do know that Vsync is turned on by default in the current build.

The Medallion quest not reappearing was a glitch in that specific quest's game logic, and it has been fixed for the upcoming patch. The other quests will, as Kordanor explained, re-appear after a couple of days.
