Eldorado is proving to be as hard to find as history has it

i thought i found Eldorado a bit back because the place seemed so out of the way but nooo it's just a temple for queztszicoli god who you will never be able to spell his name

I was pretty dissapointed with El Dorado. There wasn't much treasure there for a supposed city of gold. At least one quest offers a bigger reward.

Well the gold is in the walls, your problem is that you don't have the time or the resources to get it out of there. But it's a common criticism that El Dorado yields too few riches, and game balance be damned, I must admit that you're right.

Well the gold is in the walls, your problem is that you don't have the time or the resources to get it out of there. But it's a common criticism that El Dorado yields too few riches, and game balance be damned, I must admit that you're right.

I don't think putting more gold there would upset any balance at all. On the contrary, my biggest criticism of the game is how insanely long it takes to get enough gold for the best ending. Having a proper amount of treasure in El Dorado wouldn't make the game significantly easier, but it would save the player a lot of needless herb and ration hunting after all the quests are over.
