~5$ on gamefly
It finally hit the 5$ price point somewhere. Gamefly is selling it for 6.79$. Then when you use the coupon code GFDNOV20 it takes off another 20%

I finally grabbed it. I've been waiting for it to get to this price since the summer sale fakeout.

Indeed, someone mentioned 4 dollars on Green Man Gaming yesterday. I don't know about that 95% off thing from the above poster, I've owned the game since it came out.

If they're applied additively as a single discount, they'd be worth 95%, yes. But that's rarely how it works.

If they're applied multiplicatively, as *separate* discounts, then that's not the case. The 20% discount would only affect the already-discounted price instead of the base price.

In practical terms...

A 20-dollar game that was 75% off would be discounted to 5 dollars.
Then you'd be taking 20% (a fifth) off of *that*, which would lower the price from 5 dollars to 4 dollars.

Most stores won't let people combine any sort of promotion with any other, so I guess it's good enough that GMG would let people use the 20% voucher on top of having the game so hugely discounted in the first place. I mean, 5 bucks for this game? Pretty damn good deal.

Hrm... looking at their reputation though, it seems to me it'd be more prudent to get it from Steam or any reputable source. Worth the extra dollar.

GMG is just fine, ive bought tons of games from them, they are very reputable. They arent a shady russian key house or anything, just as good as gamefly, gamespot, gamersgate, getgames, amazon, etc. Just any other steam key seller

Their 20% discount is really what makes them worthwhile, many times they will have the same price or lower than other stores, then when you throw the extra 20% on there it makes it a no-brainer to get it from them
