Mexico Campaign.
If I finished the Hispaniola Campaign and went to Mexico and made some choices that I didn't like so I decide to start a new game on the Mexico campaign can I go back to Hispaniola?

Yes, you just select "New Game" from the main menu and click the Hispaniola campaign during the campaign selection.

So I can't go to where my ship is expecting me and just take me back there so I could do all of the missions there with my current party(equipment, members, rations etc ) ?

You should learn to live with your choices, friend.

Not unless you have a save game just before you set off for Mexico.

I've never tried it, but if you don't get any sort of compensation, starting in Mexico is probably not a good idea. You'd be losing out on all the Hispaniola stuff, including two Soldiers.

You do get some starting equipment, XP, rations, medicine, etc when starting straight in Mexico, but not as much if had played Hispaniola first. And yes, you would miss out on the followers you could pick up there.

I'm surprised how many people don't have savepoints

I always play these kind of games on Ironman, so no save points for me
