10/10 would buy twice
I was a massive fan of The Banner Saga (and games like it, mmmph, storytelling) and while I was on their forums looking for info about a sequel, I saw a comment with some suggestions for it based off of what was in this game, mainly the world map interaction.

With as much free time as I get between school and working, I like to play games with strategy or story -- or in this case, both. I figured I may as well look up the game mentioned on the forum, and wondered if it'd be worth trying.

yes

yes it was

I bought it, and guess what? GREATNESS. But that isn't what I thought when I first started out in Hispaniola. I thought, "uggh, this game is so slooooow..." and then I finally figured out that you can click places on the map and auto-path a way there instead of clicking manually every ten seconds (thanks for that, by the way) and found myself having a great time -- especially with the personality and story-events put into the game.

I was worried when I reached the end to Hispaniola's story: "Whaaat?! Five hours? That's it? It was getting even better!" And then I realized there was a whole other 75% of a game I hadn't even touched yet.

it made me giddy, and it still does even after beating it -- this game is great and you should buy it and love it and make babies with the ones that made it and whoever voiced the opening and cherish it and then help pay for the sequels or spinoffs to it

yayayayaya i love you guise 11/10 i'd buy you twice
