Final battle in Hispanola
What in the everloving f♥ck did the developers think when they created that siege? How the f♥ck are you supposed to win this thing when you cannot even heal up between those consecutive fights? Did those ret♥rds even playtest this at all? I had four veterans and two men-at-arms in those fights (all FULLY equipped) and yet I ended up losing all of them even though I had no problems whatsoever with any of the previous fights. Atrocious design.

Ease up on the language. Using a combination of barricades and lanterns is a good strategy. Also, if you still have a hard time, you can always tweak the difficulty settings for a fight and then set them back.

Use everything you have and can use. Traps, cannons, skills, buffs, items everything! The battle is tough but can be done. Also have a medic and make sure he can heal everyone while dodging arrows and blades. And besides Cortes did it :p

Then learn to use them properly. Lashing out at everyone because of your own incompetence makes you look like child with ADHD.

It is pretty hard but it's not that hard.

By the end of the second battle all I had left was an archer with half health and a medic with low health versus a full health swordsman. Those last moments were intense.
I managed to do it with a pyromaniac strategy of creating gigantic fire walls.

i had to make do with some spikes and hiding in a corner. i managed with 3 men standing though. For the second part though, i just resorted to Guerilla tactics and made it so that one side was wiped out and the other just got stunlocked if they could actually do any real damage.

I won in my second try. The first battle is a bit tough. I used 4 soldiers, 1 scout, 1 hunter and 2 lanterns and quite a few stunn blows. 5 of them was upgraded til veteran and one to sergeant. I think healers are pretty useless - never use them. It's better to play aggressiv.
Go for the 5 enemies behind the houses first. Cut the road so theu can't get out and burn them with the lanterns.
The second battle was pretty easy compared to the first. Again stunn blows are gold.

It's a >>final battle<<. That counts as boss fight. You lost on the first try? To bad.. it's not a present (and it doesn't even end the game - just another ending. Suck it up).

Or try reducing the difficulty.

It can be done. Made it on the second try with 3 barricades and a latern before I understood all the game mechanics in detail.
