Games like Expeditions: Conquistador.
Are there games like Expeditions: Conquistador that focus on dialogues, choices, consequences, and story? I don't mind how combat is played.

I've played similar games such as Consortium, Unrest, Walking Dead, Wolf Among Us. Any recommendations are appreciated.

Skyrim maybe? Vlad the Impaler seems to be a story driven game with alot of choices. I think that might be the closest you're going to get in terms of games.

You might want to look to 'Choose your own adventure/story' books.

Like this one. http://www.gamebooks.org/gallery/gameboy2.jpg

Shadowrun is somewhat similar in gameplay.

Er, Skyrim doesn't seem at all similar, since it's a game about running around and doing whatever you feel like, with very little consequence.
OP: it sounds like you are looking for story-driven RPGs, or for adventure games. I am not particularly well-versed in adventure games, but I can recommend some RPGs. Older ones you might enjoy are Fallout 1 and 2, Planescape: Torment, and Deus Ex. Newer ones include Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas. Upcoming games to keep an eye on include Wasteland 2, The Age of Decadence, and Pillars of Eternity. There are others, but that is just some that come to mind immediately.

Funny you should say that about Skyrim then recommend Fallout.

(Spoilers for those who haven't played)
In Fallout 1, if you take too long to win the game, cities will fall to the invasion. If you're evil, you can ensure the gangsters take over certain locations. There is even a non-standard game over if you tell the mutants where the vault is. Even Fallout 3, which doesn't do consequences as well, has multiple endings based on your actions in the game. Skyrim doesn't even have a proper ending, it doesn't track your morality, and your character doesn't really influence the world. I'm not saying it's a bad game, but it's not for me, and it appears that the OP is not looking for that kind of game.

Thanks, but I've played all those games and am eagerly anticipating all three games you mentioned, plus the Witcher 3 and DA:I.

I loved Fallout:NV for the choices and hated FO3 for the lack of choices. Torment was really great, too. It's pity this kind of games seem like a dying breed these days.

Divinity Original Sin.... absolutely magnificent game. The only reason I am not playing it now is because i am doing it co-op with my brother. Turn-based combat, epic story... brilliant.

You could do a lot worse than play Shadowrun Returns as well - especially the Dragonfall DLC.

Baldur's Gate (2, I don't know about the first but I've heard good things)

The Banner Saga is very similar to this game.

Well I will throw my 2 cents in late. If I was you I would look into Age of Decadence. Heavily story driven with turn based combat. I believe that in this game combat can be avoided by successful skill checks in dialogue.
