Modify the game's setup?

It's so awesome to have a chance to play Hexen: Deathkings. I used to play it in Mac OS9 years ago.

In the Steam Store version, I've found I can't modify, change or assing actions to keys. The menu option for this is at the games startup screen under Info, but pressing any key just scrolls to the next page of key assignments.

I really want to make Look Up/Down work with the mouse, as I'd done so long ago. Has anyone found a way to assign keys in Deathkings?

unzip to Base directory ,delete dosbox.exe and rename zandronum.exe to dosbox.exe.

Thanks! I didn't know the .exe files were stored locally for me to mod. What's the standard path to Steam Doom/Hexen games?

btw you can modify-uprgade (even hd textures when they are available) lot of old games.google is your friend. Duke Nukem 3d - EDuke32,
shadow warrior - SWP Release Version 4.3.0

I did what was explained by Lu2, but alls steam does it just say that it failed to launch because it couldn't find the files.

EDIT

Sorry, it's working for Deathkings of the Dark Citadel, but not for regular Hexen.

you will do same method but instead put in in ...Hexen\base
