There may be a bug in your server browser, the community in this game is still strong and there are multiple servers at full capacity even on a Tuesday at 2 am PST.

You did make sure to launch the correct game in your library, right?

is that set in the Far East or the Eastern Front though ?

You have to login to server that is running the battlefront you are looking for. Some servers run only Rising Storm maps, some servers run only RO2 original maps, and maybe some mix it up.
