We are looking for your ideas for new type / rules of Multiplayer Maps
Hello :-)
We plan to add some new Multiplayer modes. We have some new ideas at the moment and we will add them as new types of the match when their will be ready.
Moreover if you have some interesting ideas or demands about new Multiplayer Modes, then I will be more than happy to hear them in this thread. Perhaps we will be able to implement them in the future patches.

2v2 battle. Can be towers-towers vs squad-squad or towers-squad vs towers-squad. Simultaneous offense and defense lol.

Yeah, it would be awesome 2vs2 battles! Simultaneous or not, it's just an idea! :)

- 1v1
- Both sides got a convoy each
- Mirrored map
- Both sides get acces to a contrstruction drone that flies around your convoy
- Both sides use accumulated resources that spawn either randomly or at specific locations around the map
- Resources can be spent to construct towers near your convoys location that will target the enemy convoy
- Victory goes to the player that manages to kill the enemy convoy with the tower network they created before the enemies towers get you
- To force engagemenst one can put out objectives on the map that gives the controlling player a bonus. Like a percentage cheaper turret creation, higher turret damage, construction speed/concoy movement speed or increased convoy battlestrength.
- To force encounters, the game can end after a specific time and if no convoy is destroyed, the victory goes to the player that controls the most objectives, controlled the most objectives the longest or having the most amount of vehicles still alive in your convoy

- co-op game for two squads vs. the waves of approaching towers
- 2v2
- 1v2
- squad vs. squad
- you could add the ability to temporary / permanent invisibility on the map
- you could add the possibility of increasing the point limit (eg victory only after 10000 or 20000)
- you could add the additional mobile unit (for towers) which can steal capsules with skills ;-)

1 vs 1
Both player control both towers and squad
Each player starts with a homebase and the aim is to destroy the other players base.
By defaukt, the home base generates a certain amount of cash per minutes/second.
You can only place towers within your own territory.
Territory is claimed by claiming specails cores around the map.
Players start of with limited squad/tower cap and this is raised by "upgrading your main base.
Upgrading your base also unlocks new squad and tower types.

Thank's for your replies, I read them carefully. Please carry on :-) If some of you like the ideas that was already posted here, please support that ideas with your own voice. I want to know witch of them are the most wanted among players.

how about a "moba" style mode?

basicly the map would be like in dota, both players have a base (destroy it to win), convoys autospawn in 3 lanes, and the actual gameplay would be you (and your opponent) running around as the player unit, using abilities, building towers, buying upgrades.

This isn't a game mod, but...

I think that counter with number of people who are playing multiplayer / looking for match will be useful.

Co-op base defense like the one in mission 8.
Waves of towers keep spawning n players have to fight them back.

getting both a convoy and towers was my first thought as well. A alien themed convoy would be really cool looking as well.

-The tower player could design a map by pre placing a certian amound of towers. Basically starting with a "build".
-The convoy player could start with the same thing, a "build" of convoy vehicles you choose before the start of the match.

Setting traps for towers and disarm them for convoy - such as in the campaign.

Thank you for asking. Its so rare to see a dev actually ask what people want.

Just through another idea out there:

-tower side pre makes the map, including events etc... just like a story mission. Then posts it up for convoy player to play it producing a reply the tower player can later watch. A tower player scores pts based on keeping the convoy player to as little pts as possible, opposite for convoy player. maps that get played over say 100 times and given an "+" vote get permenently added to a roster for ranked play.
