Also name shaming isn't appropiate, even if someone is a cheater.
Vac has been temp disabled while the from devs help figure out what prameteres vac should look for when banning.
Of course they were able to play DS2, but in offline mode.

You say they're "fixing the API" but are you certain that's what is actually happening?
It's not like FROM would never have heard of these cheats. They were very widespread and sophisticated in DS1. I feel like if they were going to do anything about it they would have already. Perhaps those that want a cheat free multiplayer experience will have better luck in Demon's Souls II.
It seems more likely that they are just opening up the multiplayer to people who bought the game but couldn't play because they had a bad VAC record. Probably because they sold the game without listing it as being VAC secured. But, I'm just speculating here, too.
