This game totally deserves to be on Steam, and it makes a fine PC game. That it also has an iOS port doesn't change that. Civilization, Shadowrun. FFT, and many others do, too!
Quit being an obnoxious TotalBiscuit fanboy. It's a little embarrassing.
This is a store. It's not a "privilege" for a game to be sold here, so the whole "deserving" part is already complete nonsense. If you feel that games on Steam get too much exposure, then quit crying and start buying elsewhere to support other stores (like Desura or GoG).
Also, you seem to think that because one game gets added, another one does not. That is not how it works. The generic shmups you guys seem to be upset about were not added because apparently not enough Greenlight voters expressed interest. That would have been no different if Cranky Cat would not have had a previous agreement with Valve that pre-dated Greenlight (reading is hard, I know, easier to just shed teenage tears).
Greenlight is not an ideal system, but you bark at the wrong tree. It's easy and effortless. Not buying here and actually putting some action behind the whiny words would actually require some kind of sacrifice, and that is asking too much. So keep on making puppy noises for all the good it will do. That is why nobody listens to you: it's just noise.
There is a reason why there is a casual category on Steam. Get your head out of your ass.
