Load them out with mutant rats!! With Magic!!!
I'm not a cat, you dolt! I'm a Nimbat!
Yeah, when Dust starts swinging that sword, you don't want to be anywhere near him. Have you seen the screen? He just goes vwooshzheeooshzoozoosh!
Hey, who are you calling weak?!?!
"He's got GLOWING EVIL EYES OF EVIL!"
"I guess now I'll just have to hold on to it. FOREVER." " I don't even know you anymore."
Epic!
Fidget is kind of interesting in that respect because she "breaks the 4th wall". She's talking about button mashing or screen shaking, and at one point mentions that they should have saved first or something similar. Probably other things I don't remember. That's kind of unusual for a game character that is supposed to see the game world as his real world.
Yes, I'm overlooking the help bubbles that she gives you -- this is about the dialogue. The help bubbles are more like the usual game decorations, similar to damage numbers and the HUD.
. . .
Wait a second, the chibiness, the wings, the sarcasm. . .Fidget is the offspring of Nall and Ruby from the Lunar games!
Still, it's hard to point out ONE dialogue as "the best". Granted, I've only played it once, but I generally liked it. Dust/Fidget in particular, but that shouldn't be surprising -- I tend to believe that the main characters get a lot of work compared to "one shot"-NPCs that just give you a quest or two.
Ok, I didn't like some of the Ginger dialogue.
"Not enough! WE'll neEd to finD MORE if we're gonna CLEEeeEEAR aWAY that.... SCHNOW!"
"Sidequest" Dust in general was so fun. I practically directed his actor like he was playing a different character. Such a laid back and humorous fellow when he's not squarely focused on an important task, hence moments like the Matti conversation, and "Foreveeeeeer".
