Card badge - a bit, bleh?
Anyone think the default profile badges are a bit lame?

Rank 1, Rank 2, Rank 3.... the foil seems ok but no one but traders are going to get foil badges.

I want to show I like this game on my profile, but it just looks so bleh.

Do you sell the Scared Fidget? I need it :P :S

Yeah, the card badge is disappointing. I expected more than a dot. The offspring spring badges at least shows bunnies so I keep this one as display. I wish it was better than a square and a dot.

It really should have been Fidget or something. Noogy is an artist, so he really could have done a lot better with the steam badges than this stone dice thing.

If you look closely, the badges[www.steamcardexchange.net] for this game actually correspond to the five symbols on Ahrah[images2.wikia.nocookie.net]. I think that's kinda neat.

That said, I do think it's a bit obscure. Perhaps something more representative would have been better for the badges. Something more recognizable and—dare I say—cool-looking?

I'd rather just keep the cards.
Mostly just cuz they're free and I don't really have the means to get more for one badge, let alone 3.

Admittedly when I created the badges it wasn't clear what they'd be used for. It wasn't until trading cards went public that I realized you could use the badges in this way, and by then it was too late to change them since they were in 'certification' for lack of a better word.

I'd change them if I could but I think the time has passed.

Well, I noticed that the one dot was lame but after looking through a website showing them all, I think they are not as bad as I expected.

Its not Terrible, but I feel they could have done a lot better. Especially when the game itself is Beautiful.

Is there anyway to accurately count how many people already have a Dust Foil Badge? It has just been eating away at me. I've only found 1 person who has it.

You might wanna look back into it, because according to Valve employee gist, developers can change the appearance of badges, as seen in this thread...

Very interesting, thanks for the link, I didn't realize this was an option. I'll look into it.

Not a complete list, still better than nothing: Foil Badge[www.achievementstats.com]

Thank you . Just out of curiousity, how do you know that it isn't a complete list?

Nice!

Just finished my first playthrough of this game, and I wanted to say I've enjoyed it greatly. The game's well-written and was obviously made with a lot of love. Thank you for bringing a port over to Steam!
