Favorite Music on Dust: An Elysian Tail
Since Soundtrack was release 01 October 2012, so what yours favorite music themes in the game or Soundtrack?

For me most all of them, but for the best ones are "The Cirelian Trials", "Deities", "Heavy Bones", & "The Blackmoor Mountains". :)

Noogy Edit: You can pick up the OST here! http://www.loudr.fm/release/dust-an-elysian-tail/RqVDh

Falana is my favorite.
But dang it, Everdawn Basin reminds me of the hell music from Jazz Jackrabbit 2 for some reason.

Some of the music really reminds me of Kingdom Hearts for some reason.

From most fav to less fav

-Cirromon Caverns
-Sorrowing Meadows
-Vintage Sorrowing Meadows
-Vintage Glade

Abadis would of made it to the list for its awesomeness but it started off too awesome that the amount of "feel" could not be increased through out the song. It doesn't absorb me in as much as those four.

My favorite has to be Gone Home (Journeys End), it perfectly enconpases the way I felt at the end of the game, and i'm currently learning it on the piano.

A few of the songs were written by Alexander Brandon, who did the music for JJ2, so that might be where that's coming from. Pretty sure Hyperduck wrote that specific song you're referring to, though.

After giving the soundtrack another listen, Gone Home might be my new favorite.

I know all that, but now I think it's Deus Ex that I was thinking of (also Alexander Brandon, even though the particular song is by Hyperducks).

Dean - which tracks were composed by Brandon? I'm huge fan of hist work since he were doing trax-music and composed amazing OST for Unreal but I honestly can't tell what tracks is his.

The bandcamp page makes the distinction. loudr.fm doesn't seem to.

Hey! Alex wrote these tracks:

1. Falana
3. Aurora
12. Beneath Hollow Grounds
16. Last Sanctum

Aurora still has to be one of my top favourites from the soundtrack. Amazing getting to work with THE Alex Brandon. He also wrote the original version of "The Glade" when it was called "Torg", we did a new arrangement of the tune to fit in with the overall Dust music style. Maybe the original will get released one day in a special edition :) Amongst some other things. *winky wink wink*. 3 years of composing you don't think this is ALL we wrote do you? :P

Anyway, love that this discussion has fired up, so cool seeing people pick and choose what they like and don't like about the music, (mostly like obviously, that's the best bit, hehe!) but again, thank you for all the love, from Dan, Alex and myself, we're humbled by the kindness and passion you lot show about both the game and the music that ties with it and the story. Glad what we did hit home.

As for the Gone Home (Journeys End) I may do a little video of my playing that at some point, and if I've a bit of time I'll get the sheet music up for it too. Stay tuned on that.

Chris Geehan.
