Is it worth it?

Tempted to buy this, the graphics and ost look amazing. Is it a long game or you can finish it in like 2-3hours?

If you're the kind of person who only cares for the story, then I'd say you will have a six to seven hour experience while oogling the scenary. Going for one-hundred percent easily boost the time up to between nine and eleven hours on your first playthrough. The best thing to do in order to get the most out of the game is to bump up the difficulty to at least the second to the last one. I can look it up but I know there is a vast change in difficulties that affect how you play, such as more flanking enemies for example.

well, its currently on sale for 5 bucks. for that price you cant do much wrong.
otherwise ... i dont think its that spectacular of a game.
the story is basically "the-destined-warrior-with-a-magic-sword-fights-monsters-♥♥♥♥" everybody saw a million times all ready.
your fliying companion Fidget is so freaking annoying that you will probably end up skipping a lot of the numerous "cutscenes" anyway. so, unless you like the JRPG style characters, dont bother.
the fighting is awesome though! adding combos and slashing throug enemies is tons of fun (:

it is completly worth it for 5 bucks, i got it for like 10 during a diff sale and i was really happy with it. think in hard mode it took me bout 10 hours to get everything and this was my 2nd playthough

I spent 30-hours on the game. Played through three times and still occasionally play the challenge arenas. Also played until I got 100% achievements.

If you were like me when I first saw it and got put off by the anthropomorphic (Not sure if that's spelt right) animals, I suggest watching Totalbiscuit's "WTF is Dust: an Elysian Tail?" video. It cleared up a lot of things for me and ultimately ended up with me getting the game and I don't regret it at all. The artwork is fantastic quality and the gameplay is great, and it's been optimised for PC rather than just ported.
As for Fidget, I can see why some people would find her annoying but personally I don't see it. She is a good comedy relief character and affects the events of the story to such an extent it would be a completely different game without her.
All I can say is: Check out the video and most if not all of your questions will be answered

Beat it, 112 percented it, and started again on hardcore. Yeah, it's worth it.
