Gog.com version
Hello. I finished this game months ago. I see there´s now a gog version. The question is, can I have both versions or do I have to buy the gog too?

What's the question here? It's same game, just sold on GOG.

It´s because I would like to play it wihout the Steam client. And without DRM

If you want it DRM-free, you can buy it off of GOG.

I don't really even understand what the problem with Steam, is. The game runs just fine even on Offline mode.

Personally i dont see any issues in Steam's DRM systems, log in once > go to game > click play and done. Unless of course Steam's being a jerk with updating itself, but eh, life aint perfect... Its only really annoying when trying to run it via a USB stick or something similar.

Well anyway, you unfortunately do have to buy it again from GOG if you want to run it DRM-free, like on a USB stick or whatever's impeding you here. Though i find sometimes i can mess with the files and run a game without steam involving itself with it, like sometimes removing the steam_appid.txt file (which is in the folder of the game you want to mess with) is enough to run it without steam. (Seriously though, make backups first and put em back if stuff doesnt work.)

No clue what the legal standpoint of these methods are but i just stick with the motto of i bought it, its my game, so i might as well do this if i want to run it seperately.
Technically not a problem anyway if it doesnt use your steam account for anything.

It´s not a problem. I was just wondering, if I have a Steam copy, they could give me the gog version too, like they did with Bunny Must Die. Steam keys for the people who already got their copy on another sites.
