How long will take?

How long will take to finish the game? I see people wirting a reivew with 1h only... Is beause the game is awesome and i want to play it for a long time.

First off, yes the game is awesome

Then, if you rush through and just want to make it to the end you can easiely be done in 3 to 4 hours.
But if you take your time, explore everything and try to find all secrets and treasures you'll be ending up somewhere between 5 to 8 hours.

Took ten hours for me, there's -tons- of secret areas to find, sidequests to finish and challenges to complete.

I just finished completeing the game, 100% and max level and all, and I am sitting right at almost 15 hours. Granted though, this wasn't on the hardest dificulty, so if you feel like extending it the cranked up challenge is worth it.

I played on Hardcore and it took me ~22h with every Achivement. I played normal/slow with 360 controller.

Everything done except max level took me 17h first time playing and I started directly on Hardcore.

Started on Normal, about 20 Achievements I think, not everything crafted or explored (about 90%), ~14h. Tho I really enjoyed the atmosphere and took my time there. Then there's also Hardcore to run through and the 4-Star-Challenges.

If you ain't that fast paced you can spend about 30-40 Hours there. But I guess that'd be all then.

Both answers seem way exaggerated in my opinion. I'm at about 12 hours and almost done 100% the game without looking up anything on the internet and on hard difficulty.
Still well-worth the money, especially in a Humble Bundle.

Well, calculated all the Achievements in there, meaning you'd have to play it 2 times anyways. :P
But yeah, after I tried that, gotta admit, it's NOT about 40 hours.

Its about 10-12 hours if you do the side missions :)

For a definitive answer:
Got at the last checkpoint with the entire game done 100% after 14h34m. With the last boss and final cut-scene, let's say 15h to find every single secret and do every single mission without ever looking on the internet, and playing on Hard mode (not Extreme).
I now have every achievement after 17h and some minutes of game time according to Steam, since the only actual mission that needs you to play the game twice is near the beginning.

100% the actual game = 15h
100% achievements = 17h

I don't think so. I have played the game 1.5 times and I have 35 hours on it. Some people play faster than others.
