This game is fun but gotten easy in the later part of the game
I started with Tough difficulty. The game was challenging at the beginning; I had to be careful to not get hit (which can easily took at least 1/3 of the health bar), and the fact that the game has no place to regenerate health except for health items, but the supplies are limited so I had to use wisely. As the game progressed, it was getting easier. I realized that instead of normal attack, doing the magic attack with Fidget is way easier to kill monsters and fight bosses, since they can block your normal attacks but not this magic attack. The game got really easy with high defense. After getting Pendant of the Wisdom, I feel invincible because the monsters rarely hit me and if they do, it is insignificant and can be healed off with regen (defense stat around 1k5~2k). The final boss is also easy with my "spell casting" Dust. Changing the difficulty to Hardcore doesn't help much.

I hope that the sequel will address these issues and make it more challenging.

Yes, I also played on Tough, and at the end it turns very easy after you got all the items with fidget attack multipliers (14.4x in my case) and leveling Fidget/Dust storm a lot.

I'm not far enough to vouch for this, but I'll keep an eye out when I get there. I'm woefully neglectful of my steam library.

Basically how I felt. Magic started to feel more and more like an "I win" button as the game went on. It was kinda a good thing for me I guess since combat got kinda stale about half way through so having a way to easily blow through battles was nice.

There's no real way to fight the soldiers or the final boss without the Dust Storm.
