Solution for "Game Freeze on Title Screen"

I found this post for doom but knowing they are built on the same system i just did this for the hexen folder and only changed the "hexen.conf" file. The game runs fine now for me!

go to

program files/ steam/ steamapps/ common/ final doom/ base

there should be 5 CONF files:

dosbox
plutonia
plutoniam
tnt
tntm


edit all of them with note pad, and change the line of text that says (fulldouble=true)

change it from:

(fulldouble=true) to (fulldouble=false)


do this for all the CONF files mentioned above and you sould be able to run the game
