Challenge: Finish 7.4 "Hot N Cold" with 3 blocks + 3 memory blocks

It could have been an achievement!

I managed to have 3 blocks at the end of the level 7-4 without having forgot the three memory cards. It was a bit tricky (but possible without cheating). Here is a challenge for you guys ;)

(Maybe it is easier than I think, I'd be curious to know how you'd do it.)

Hi!
Does somebody have a hint for me on how to get the second memory block?
I´m totally clueless on how to get it.
I enter the screen with the second memory block, having an ice, glass and metal block in my inventory. Is this even correct? (I could enter it with sand and pipe instead)
Any small hint appreciated!

PS: I´m playing on the v1.0 android app but I guess the level should be the same.

Yes, you're correct so far.

Backtrack to the room with the slime that toggles the lasers. Now that you've cleared the clouds, you don't need him walking around anymore.

Splatter him on one of your blocks. You use the sticky side to get the memory block's slime into the middle platform.

This is the hardest puzzle in the game by far, for the record. It took me the better part of an hour to remember that.

Hi Waypoint, thanks a lot for the hint!

I guess I had too long a break between playing, I completely forgot about using slimes from other rooms.
Admittedly I also had to look at the walkthrough on youtube (just found it now) which gave me another needed hint about the laser toggle slime.
Well, if this is the hardest of them all, I hope I can finish the rest soon! :)

It's not exactly the most complex, but it is the one where you're the least certain of what you need to do it. Usually you know at a glance what type of block you need and can search previous rooms for it, and even the places where you need to hunt for a slime are more obvious ("this puzzle absolutely must end with X stuck here, so I need a slime", etc).

This one's just, like, the perfect storm of abstraction, because the sticky slime is part of a weird non-obvious middle step, and the place you get it is currently controlling a terrain hazard two screens away that you only recently bypassed and might still think you can't get him out of it.
