It seems to happen more in certain levels whenever you abruptly stop at an angle, but here it just stops in mid motion of the curve, very peculiar.
Quark, I also I owe you an apology on how critical I've been on this game. There's small things that bother me still, but I think I wasn't looking at the whole package. I'm worried about the new achievements coming, but I'm glad I got to finish this game finally. I feel like how I feel after a boss battle in a Zelda game or something. A very tough game, but in the aftermath, I do feel stronger and more focused of a gamer.
As for anything else in particular, I noticed that when you land in the minecart as ice, you can slide to a bit of an angle, like 15 degrees or something. Regardless, if you switch to Air or Fire in this position it immeidately kills you rather than allowing you to use the Fire-Ice quick change to speed the cart up.
