Element4l crashing on Mac

I just bought Element4l during the Steam sale. I mapped my controller and started the intro. I had the graphics on high at first, but when I get to the point in the intro where it says something about getting close, the game crashes and my computer restarts.

I changed the graphics to low and this still happened. Anyone have any idea what's going on?

That's weird, I've not received any reports on mac-crashes... Can you try skipping the intro (esc -> skip tutorial) and see if it happens later in the game as well?
